Submit an Event

Everyone is welcome to add events to the Kidlist calendar, given that they are family-friendly (no ongoing classes or camps), free/minimal fee, and take place in the Chicago area. Simply complete the form below and click Submit. We'll review your event for approval.

Please note:

  • Events requiring advance registration, as well as free events designed to generate leads, are not eligible for complimentary listings on the Kidlist calendar or in the Weekend Planner. They may be considered for inclusion in curated articles or guides.

  • We cannot use shortened links for complimentary event listings (bitly links for example). If a shortened link is submitted, it will be converted to the full link without tracking.

  • Event submissions are usually reviewed on Wednesdays, subject to change based on volume received. If you have a time-sensitive request, please email Annie at annie@mykidlist.com.

If your event doesn't meet the criteria for a complimentary listing and you'd like to reach local families, select that you are interested in advertising and Annie will reach out.

Type the name of the venue (for example, 'Lincoln Park Zoo'). Please enter the venue name, not the street address.

Enable for events with multiple start times on the same date (e.g. matinee + evening). All start times share the same duration.
